Maximum lift. Mix with bleach powder or high-lift colour when you need to go a long way lighter — dark roots, blondes and pre-lightening.

• Up to 3–4 levels of lift
• Blondes, bleaching with lightening powder and stubborn dark roots

Good to know

• The strongest of the three. Best in experienced hands — not recommended for a first-time colour or a sensitive scalp. Watch the processing time closely.

What it does

• Creamy texture stays on the brush and on the hair — no dripping down the face and neck
• Mixes smoothly with permanent hair colour cream and with bleach / lightening powder
• Glycerin and a conditioning polymer help hair feel softer after colouring
• A stabiliser keeps the developer steady in the bottle between uses
• Light fragrance
• Same formula in 6%, 9% and 12% — only the strength changes

Mixing guide

• Hair colour cream — usually 1 : 1 (some brands use 1 : 1.5)
• Bleach powder — 1 : 1.5 to 1 : 2
• Always follow the ratio printed on your colour or bleach pack first

How to use

1. Do an allergy test 48 hours before, and a strand test to check timing.
2. Put on gloves. Mix in a plastic or glass bowl — never metal.
3. Apply to dry, unwashed hair, section by section.
4. Process for the time on your colour pack, checking every 5–10 minutes. With bleach, do not go past 45 minutes.
5. Rinse thoroughly, then shampoo and condition.

Pro tips

• Use the mixture within 30 minutes and throw away any leftover — never store mixed product in a closed bottle.
• Recap the bottle tightly straight after pouring.
• Colouring at home for the first time? Start with 6%.
